Serge Indexed as leader of a prisoners protest

  • July 22,2019 there was a protest against poor prison conditions, unjust detainment, mistreatment and lack of swift judgement for many prisoners who have been under preventive custody for too long.

Serge at Local 9 of Mfou prison

  • August 6,2019 Serge is transferred to Mfou prison (30Km from Yaounde).
  • He’s once more placed under preventive custody then indicted for group rebellion.

    • Anglophone crisis prisoners: Mancho Bibizy Penn Terrence and Felix Ngalim
  • Early in October, the Cameroon president has requested that prosecution against January 26,2019 protesters should be stopped.
  • Serge filed an appeal an requested a temporary release has the president has stopped the prosecution process for which he was initially arrested.
  • Without even holding a hearing session, the request for temporary release was denied.
